Been watching the original #Patlabor TV series lately, inspired by Patlabor Day happening back on the 10th. It might be an old series, and easy to write off at first glance as simple comedy-adventure, but honestly it's brilliant.
People rave about the films, and no question they're great, but most of the elements people rave about them for are right there from the start, especially the near-seamless blending of comedy with serious, complex stories.

So I got me a raspberry pi, thinking to take my Mastodon server home.
But I'm not reeally into the micro part of micro blogging, so I'm not going to stay on Mastodon.
(When I sit down to (free-)write something it it usually ends up in the6-7-800 word range)
We shall se how I feel about twisting that into longer forms.
